Technical Malfunction Issues
Multiple users report issues with the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus, primarily related to movement failures, electrical problems, and operational inconsistencies, often despite attempts to troubleshoot and clean the device.
- Movement Failures: A significant number of users experience the robot moving only briefly (5-10 seconds) before stopping or reversing. This issue is frequently reported, with users noting that the cleaner either fails to move at all or only progresses a short distance before ceasing operation.
- Power and Electrical Issues: Several reports indicate that while the power source shows operational status, the unit itself does not respond appropriately. Users have noted situations where the control panel lights are on, yet the cleaner fails to move, suggesting potential internal electrical faults.
- Flashing Lights and Malfunctions: Instances of the unit powering on with flashing lights, followed by a complete failure to move, have been noted. This points to possible motor or internal component failures that prevent normal operation.
- General Failure to Operate: A recurring theme is the inability of the unit to function properly. Users report that despite cleaning and checking for debris, the robot may turn on but does not move, highlighting a common frustration with the device’s reliability.

I have had my Nautilus Dolphin for 1/5 years. It has worked beautifully but now will not move at all. I’ve cleaned it, taken it out of the pool and re-submerged and it still will not work. Please help!

My dolphin CC plus is having issues with the track belt coming off the roller on the drive side. I have replaced the tracks and rollers with a tune-up kit. The issue seemed to be solved for a couple of weeks and has now started having the issue again. It’s always the same side and the same roller. I swapped the rollers around to no avail. I don’t see anything amiss. I have ordered two new wheel tubes, is there anything else that could be a problem? Thank you for your Time.

Is there any way to RESET the pool cleaner? Ours just stopped working 1 week ago. The power source shows power…but the fan on the unit itself isn’t turning.
It’s 2 years old — so is this a common problem?

Doesn’t matter if you select 1, 2 or 3 hours. The Nautilus CC Plus will only move about 10″ forward. Shuts off after that. Any help appreciated.

Hi Jeremy, I have a Dolphin Active 30 , after the unit stops in the pool, leave the robot in the pool and discount the blue cable at the power supply and test for your 29 volts output at the supply. I want to see if you have still have 29 volts output. Just curious. Do this test away from the pool please..
Safety issue.
Thank you,

Did you ever get an answer. Mine is doing the same thing.
Submit Your Own IssueI recently replaced my electrical cord on my Nautilus CC plus pool cleaner that I bought from a retailer they suggested with the appropriate EOM part. Now my cleaner works for about 20 mins then stops, or, once it gets on it side it seems to want to stop working. Any hints on what’s going on?

This dolphin worked great for one year & half now it has all the same symptoms as all the others people are reporting… I’ve done everything I was told to do… Reset, replaced parts and nothing but wasted my money. No more.
